The fulfilment of electricity needs in Aceh Province has not been evenly distributed so that the potential available natural resources continues to be explored and destroyed utilized. One high potentials province is watershed subwatershed. This study aims use Lawe-simpali subwatershed as a hydroelectric power plant meet electrical energy remote communities around Subwatershed, Province, Indonesia. method used this research literature field survey. Four types methods for estimating rainfall frequency distribution were tested on climatological data obtained from area. A Der Weduwen determine water discharge with return period up 100 years. results show Log Pearson Type III estimation more suitable Subwatershed area coefficient inclination 0.9. estimated can generated biennial 1571.85 m3/s. able generate by 26.2 kW planning 2 m head 131.1 10 m. shows great become micro mini it it.
